Koutalas

Our most popular and protected dive site is like an underwater nursery, teeming with life. By day, you’ll encounter schools of glass fish and trumpetfish, along with octopuses, lionfish, moray eels, and scorpionfish. If you're lucky, you might even spot a turtle! As night falls, the site truly comes to life, with moray eels, lobsters, and octopuses becoming more active and playful in their natural habitat. On especially dark nights, you can even experience the magical glow of bioluminescence, adding an extra touch of wonder to your dive.
Octopus Bay (Ombros Gialos)

Depth: 0-25m | Currents: None | Suitable For All Levels

A groundbreaking new diving park is being developed in Apokoronas, Crete, transforming the coastal area of Ombros Gialos into one of the Mediterranean’s most exciting underwater destinations. Featuring two sunken Greek navy warships, 44 artificial reef structures, and dive routes ranging from 8.5m to 25m, the park is designed to support marine biodiversity while offering unforgettable experiences for divers of all levels. With its unique blend of shipwrecks, reef life, and conservation-focused design, the Apokoronas Diving Park is set to become a must-visit site for anyone exploring the waters near Almyrida and Chania.

The 44 artifical reef structures have been placed & the first of the two ships has been scuttled.

Kalami

Depth: 0-40 m | Currents: None | Suitable For All Levels

Kalami Beach in Crete is a breathtaking dive destination, boasting crystal-clear waters and stunning scenery. This site offers incredible depth, featuring a sunken airplane resting at 40 meters, perfect for advanced divers. In shallower waters (under 18m), a vibrant coral-covered area provides plenty of hiding spots for octopuses and moray eels. Closer to the surface, at 5 meters, you'll find beautifully encrusted wrecking balls, now thriving with coral growth and often home to majestic lionfish. Whether you're diving deep or exploring the shallows, Kalami Beach promises an unforgettable underwater adventure!
