Complete the theory before your holiday, giving you more time to enjoy the underwater world during your trip. The Search and Recovery Specialty course consists of 3-4 dives, designed to teach you the skills needed for effective search and recovery operations. • Day 1 Your adventure begins at the dive centre, where we’ll ensure you're fully prepared for the course. The Mediterranean waters, with temperatures ranging from 22°C to 28°C in summer, offer a comfortable and enjoyable diving experience. After reviewing the E-Learning and addressing any questions you might have, we’ll head out to our protected dive site for 2 dives. During the day, this site acts as a nursery, where you may encounter schools of glass fish, barracuda, octopus, lionfish, moray eels, scorpionfish, and if you're lucky, even a turtle. • Day 2 On Day 2, the process will be similar to Day 1, with all your gear ready and waiting for you. You'll continue to refine your search and recovery skills over 1-2 dives, applying the techniques you’ve learned under supervision as you plan, organize, and execute the dives. * 3 Dives needed if you have completed a S&R dive for AOW * 4 Dives needed if this will be your first S&R dive
