Improve your underwater navigation skills, developing your proficiency with compass and natural navigation while becoming more confident and independent underwater.

Want to feel more confident navigating underwater? The PADI Underwater Navigator Specialty helps you develop greater accuracy and confidence with your underwater navigation skills. Your course starts with PADI eLearning, provided as soon as you sign up, allowing you to complete the theory at your own pace before your practical training. You'll then complete two or three open water dives, depending on your current certification. If you're a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, your Advanced Open Water course already included the first Underwater Navigation dive, so you'll complete two additional dives to finish the specialty. If you're a PADI Open Water Diver, you'll complete all three specialty dives. The dives may take place from the shore or boat, depending on the day's activities, giving you the opportunity to practise your navigation skills in real diving conditions. You'll develop and refine your underwater navigation skills, improving your proficiency with compass navigation, natural navigation and estimating distances underwater. You'll practise navigating towards specific underwater points and finding your way back to your starting point, helping you become more accurate and confident with your navigation. Good navigation isn't just about knowing which direction you're travelling. It helps you plan your dives more effectively, find the areas you want to explore and make better use of your time underwater. At Kefi Divers, we keep our groups small and tailor your training to your experience and goals. We'll give you plenty of opportunity to practise and refine your navigation skills, helping you become more comfortable and confident navigating underwater.
