1. Introduction

Welcome to Kefi Divers. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website (kefidivers.com) and participation in any diving experiences, courses, snorkelling trips, and related services ("Services") provided by Kefi Divers, operating in Almyrida, Chania, Crete, Greece.

By booking or participating in our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.

2. Eligibility & Health Requirements

Participants must meet the minimum age requirements for each activity as specified on our website.

All participants must complete a medical questionnaire before any in-water activity. Certain medical conditions may require a physician's clearance.

Kefi Divers reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone deemed unfit for diving or snorkelling activities for safety reasons.

Certified divers must present valid certification cards before participating in certified diver experiences.

3. Bookings & Payments

Bookings can be made through our website or by contacting us directly via email or phone.

A deposit may be required to confirm your booking. Full payment details will be communicated at the time of reservation.

All prices listed on our website are in Euros (€) and include equipment unless otherwise stated.

Kefi Divers reserves the right to adjust pricing at any time; however, confirmed bookings will be honoured at the agreed price.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

More than 48 hours notice:

Full refund or free rescheduling.

24–48 hours notice:

50% refund or rescheduling subject to availability.

Less than 24 hours / no-show:

No refund.

Cancellations due to adverse weather or sea conditions will be fully refunded or rescheduled at no extra cost. Weather-related decisions are made solely by Kefi Divers and are final.

5. Assumption of Risk & Liability

Scuba diving and snorkelling are adventure activities that carry inherent risks, including but not limited to decompression illness, drowning, and marine life encounters. By participating in our Services, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

All participants are required to sign a liability release and assumption of risk form prior to any activity.

Kefi Divers, its instructors, and staff shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in our Services, except where caused by proven negligence.

Participants are responsible for their own travel and health insurance. We strongly recommend dive-specific travel insurance.

6. PADI Standards & Safety

All diving activities are conducted in accordance with PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) standards and guidelines. Our instructors are PADI certified and committed to maintaining the highest safety standards at all times.

Kefi Divers reserves the right to modify or cancel any activity if conditions are deemed unsafe, without liability for any associated costs beyond the activity fee.

7. Photography & Media

Kefi Divers may take photographs and video during activities for promotional purposes. By participating, you consent to the use of such media unless you notify us in writing beforehand.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and design — is the property of Kefi Divers and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without prior written permission.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Greece. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Chania, Crete, Greece.
